Electro 6 HP or Electro 6D: the real difference
Both versions share the same sound sections. The difference is under your fingers. The Electro 6D 61 and 73 have a semi-weighted waterfall keyboard, nine physical drawbars and a mount for the Half Moon Switch, for 8.1 and 9.2 kg. The Electro 6 HP replaces that keyboard with a 73-key weighted Hammer Action Portable keybed and shows its drawbars on LED columns, for 11.4 kg. For the keyboardist who plays piano and electric piano first, with organ on the side, the HP is the logical choice; the organist who slides across the keys will prefer the 6D.
