The Nord Piano 6 88 is an 88-key stage piano with a Triple Sensor weighted action, designed for pianists. It stacks two piano layers and two Sample Synth layers, each with its own effects, on a panel of LED faders, at 19.2 kg with the Triple Pedal 2 in the box.

Who it's for
For the pianist who mostly plays piano, acoustic or electric, and wants to add strings, brass or a pad without changing instruments. That's what the two Sample Synth layers are for: a pad under the piano, or strings on the left and piano on the right with the 9-location split. The Piano 6 has no drawbar organ section and no virtual analog synth: for those sounds, an all-round stage keyboard is a better fit. It also comes in a 73-key version, at 16.2 kg.

- Nord Piano 6 or Nord Stage 4?
- The Piano 6 is dedicated to piano, with Sample Synth layers in support. The Stage 4 adds an organ section and a synth section. If you mostly play piano, the Piano 6 is enough and comes with the Triple Pedal 2.
- Nord Piano 6 or Nord Grand 2?
- They share the same 120 voices, the same four layers and the same libraries. The Grand 2 uses a Kawai hammer action and weighs 21.3 kg; the Piano 6 88 keeps Nord's Triple Sensor keyboard and weighs 19.2 kg.
- Does the Piano 6 do organ sounds?
- It has no drawbar organ section. Its Sample Synth layers play samples from the Nord Sample Library, but for an organ with drawbars you adjust live, you need an instrument with that section.
- Is the Triple Pedal 2 included?
- Yes. It comes in the box and plugs into the 5-pin DIN jack made for it. The sustain input and the control pedal input remain available.
